Keep smiling with QLS! World Smile Day October 7th 2016

Have you noticed how quickly your mood changes when you are among warm, positive and smiling people?

That is what Harvey Ball may have noticed when he came up with World Smile Day.

According to Mr. Ball, a smile has healing qualities and makes people feel better while seeing the positive side of things. Mr Ball is also behind the creation of the well-known Smiley Face!

He never patented the world known symbol, nor did he request money after its success. He used to say “’Hey, I can only eat one steak at a time, drive one car at a time!”.

On Friday October 7^th 2016, the QLS network of language schools celebrated World Smile Day with many interesting activities all around Greece and shared smiles, smiley balloons and positive messages in their areas.

The project was part of QLS’s “Keep Smiling: From Children To Children” Volunteering Year 2016-2017 which will include a variety of monthly volunteering projects and activities.
